Frequent Visitors

There are several 4 legged visitors who come by to hang out or play. All of my boarders have a dog or dogs, and they usually come to the house to play with my girls (it's just a little too crazy to have them at the barn). Sara and Brodie come with Amy and Jeremy, Tanner and Murphy come with Chris, and Emma comes with Carla. There is one other special visitor, you'll read about him below...

Sara has been coming to play for a very long time. She usually spends 2 days a week here while Amy is at work. She has just started bringing her big brother Brodie along and so far he is getting along well with everyone! They are both boxers, and very sweet dogs. That's Brodie in front, he's a brindle color, and Sara behind, she's fawn.

Tanner and Murphy take turns coming with Chris, it's a little too much for Rosy's hips to have them both jumping on her at once! They are Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Murphy is just a puppy - albeit a HUGE puppy. He's pretty feisty (to put it mildly!). That's him playing tug with Rosy. Tanner (on the left) has been visiting for a long time like Sara. In fact, I think he's a little in love with Sara and loves it when their visits overlap! Tanner is a good boy, though he is a little "needy"!

Emma is a beautiful little golden retriever with a dark gold/red coat. She has only met Rosy so far, she hasn't come in to see the others because all 3 at once can be overwhelming! It's taken her a while to warm up to Rosy but now they play and get along fine. Unfortunately, Emma has not let me take her picture yet, but I'm working on it!

There is one other 4 legged fellow who visits. He is Jack, the quarter horse belonging to Esther. She brings Jack over sometimes in the summers so she can have my vet do his teeth (my vet doesn't travel as far as Esther's home), and he usually stays for a while so we can ride together. Jack is an easy-going, older guy who doesn't let much bother him, and he gets along with whatever horses happen to be around at the time. The photo above is him getting a bath here last July, on the right is on one of our rides this summer. (Yes, his mom makes him wear the silly looking ear protectors so he doesn't get flies in his ears. Poor boy, so undignified!)

Sara and Brodie love comming to visit and spend time at the farm. They allways know there will be lots of playtime and even better lots of couch time. Both Jeremy and I love having them there too. We can always count on Ann for taking the best care possible for all of our animals, both big and little. And we all love her for it.
