This photo is from yesterday and shows how "excited" the horses are by the cold. From left to right they are: Ceres, Dolly, Tapper, Abby, Josey, and Pepper. Ziegy is out of the picture to the right, he's busy eating! As you can see, there is no snow! The ground is very hard and rutted and some of the horses are having a hard time walking on it - they get ouchy feet. It would actually be good if we had some snow to cover the ground and make it easier for them (I can't believe I am actually hoping for snow, I HATE PLOWING!!!).
This is behind the barn, with Petrucchio (on the left) and Puck, and Sundance and Deja in the background. Scooby is being smart and standing in his run-in!

Oh my gosh I cannot wait for spring to actually come. This weather has been torture! Its warm, its cold, its warm, its cold. Lets just be warm so we can start riding again!
I understand how much the cold sucks, but I'm sorry, I just have to say it... HAHA
I'm glad I left when I did!!
