More Snow

Last week was beautiful weather wise, warm temps, lots of snow melted, the driveway was actually clear and things were starting to get a little muddy. With Carla's help I was able to dig outside the Dutch doors so we could open them and the 3 horses in those stalls could go in and out at night. Then came St. Patrick's day..... We got just over a foot of snow with a little crust of sleet/ice on top, and the temperatures dropped. No below 0 temps, but teens and single digits with wind. The horses are all shedding and we were almost thinking we could ride soon - March is so unpredictable!

The horses are "feeling their oats", they know that spring is just around the corner. Here are some photos of them, Ziegy took the towel off the fence and had a great time playing with it before he finally shredded it! Abby looked on in disgust because she is too dignified for such silly games!
